Late Night Post, Dedication to Grace

Hey Everyone,

This post is coming at about 1:55 AM Central Time, which is late for most people, but not for me because I am a well, nightowl! I actually inherited that from my mother, my dad is a Nazi when it comes to people getting enough sleep, going to bed at a reasonable time, and just about anything to do with sleep. The only time he stays up past 9 pm is on the weekends when he drinks a couple beers, but he will be lucky to not be passed out in his favorite chair by 11 pm! Anyway, I wanted to take this post to talk a little about a person who is important to me and deserves a big mention and rarely gets it. Grace is my daughter, yes I am a Dad, and let's get this straight I am not a very good one. She is a very pretty, sweet, funny, and outgoing little girl. Unfortunately, I chose basketball as a career (for now) and I had to go to college away from where she lives to get to the point I am at now. So, once again I am going to have to disappoint her and be away for long periods of time. She is only four years old (just turned 4/14) and she doesn't understand the big picture yet, she really thinks it is just a vacation when her Dad comes and sees her. But, hopefully she can read this someday and know that I do love her and will be better. She deserves it! Don't worry though, she is well taken care of despite my shortcomings as a father! I just wanted to give her a big shout out with this post! Hope everyone is enjoying their sleep!
