Brothers Dinner and Three Point Shots

Hey Everyone,

Once again, a post in the middle of the night for all you normal people! Me, the weirdo, is still up and kicking it. I had a strange run in with a cop at a park tonight, not going to go into detail, but there was not ticket involved even though my shirt was off. I'll leave that one to the imagination. In other exciting news, the Brother's Dinner was tonight. I don't know why I capitalized that like it is some event or something, it really is just a dinner with a bunch of Brothers at it. No! I am not talking about black guys you are all retarded, brothers are the men of God at my catholic college. They are very similar to priests in the fact that they don't get married, give their life to God, and really I don't know the difference between the two. Anyways, they host a dinner for athletes after each season ends and we are required to attend. Now, I don't want to slam the brothers too hard because I appreciate them, they are always at our games and probably are our biggest fans, but why do they want to cook us dinner to thank us? They support us not the other way around. On top of that, I'm not in love with food they cook but they show us a good time and obviously recognition is also appreciated. So, thank you Brothers! Basketball wise, my jump shot and it's inconsistency is really starting to get on my nerves. If you know how I play, you know I am not a good three point shooter. Well, in reality I am better than the average joe just not better than most of my team who happens to be filled with strangely good shooters like Kyle Couvion, Kevin Doran, Jimmy Palmer, and Zack Warner. And that is not to mention all the good shooters who have graduated recently from CBU. I have been working very hard to extend my range nonetheless, and honestly I do have some good days shooting. I'm sure everyone gets annoyed with me shooting countless threes in open gym because I need the practice, but they can bear with me, I helped them get Elite 8 rings. Anyways, I will have a good day and make 5 or 6 three point shots, and then turn around and only make 1 or 2. This would be fine if I wasn't shooting a similar amount everyday. I practice a lot now on my own and they go in all the time without defense, but in games it is a different story. Anyone with suggestions on how to simulate defense while shooting alone please send those comments my way because I am clueless. Anyone who feels my pain (ok just being dramatic now) . Really though, I'll be back at it everyday until it is consistent, but the part in between just isn't my thing!
